Cozy BBQ night under the showers, accompanied by the soulful melodies of traditional Pashtun & Punjabi music, creating a perfect blend of culture and camaraderie. Exciting Activities at Snow Venture Camp Kalam 2025

    1. Snow Hiking: Embark on a scenic snow hike through the majestic valleys and pine forests of Kalam, where you’ll experience breathtaking views and the beauty of live snow.

    2. Sledding Races: Feel the thrill of sledding races on the snowy slopes. Challenge your friends to race down the hill for an adrenaline-pumping adventure. 

    3. Photography Sessions: Capture the stunning landscapes of Kalam with a guided photography session. Learn tips and techniques from experts to take the best snow-capped mountain shots. 

    4. Traditional Pashtun Music: Enjoy the soulful sounds of traditional Pashtun music around a cozy campfire, creating a warm cultural experience in the chilly atmosphere. 

    5. BBQ Night: Relax and enjoy a delicious BBQ night under the stars, complete with traditional dishes, good food, and great company. 

    6. Snow Showers Challenge: Embrace the snow showers by taking part in the Snow Showers Challenge – a fun and invigorating activity where you’ll race to embrace the snow without hesitation! 

    7. Team-Building Snow Games: Engage in interactive team-building games that involve snow, such as snow sculpture competitions or relay races. Develop leadership and teamwork skills while enjoying the snow. 

    8. Snow Trekking with Guides: For the more adventurous, go snow trekking through challenging terrains with expert guides who will teach you how to navigate snowy conditions safely. 

    9. Cultural Exchange: Connect with local residents and share in cultural exchange activities, where you’ll learn traditional skills and crafts. A truly immersive experience! 

    10. Winter Sports Fun: Try your hand at snow tubing, skiing, or snowboarding (based on availability). A great way to get active and enjoy the thrilling snow sports Kalam is known for. 

    11. Certificates: Participants will receive certificates of participation recognizing their engagement in various activities throughout the camp. Additionally, there will be interactive sessions focused on personal growth, leadership skills, and overcoming challenges, designed to inspire and equip participants with valuable insights for their future endeavors.

DAY. 01

  • Pickup participants from Lahore at 11:30 PM on  New date  ( Daewoo terminal, Thokar Niaz baig Lahore )
  • 3 JAN Islamabad 05:00AM (Daewoo Terminal, 26 number, Peshawar Morr)
  • Pickup participants from Peshawar at 6:30AM (  Lahore Adda Bus Terminal)
  • Assemble at the designated meeting point for departure to Malam Jabba.
  • Enjoy the scenic drive through snowy landscapes, with brief stops for photography and refreshments.
  • Explore Malam Jabba Ski Resort and indulge in activities like skiing, snowtubing, and zip-lining.
  • Depart for nearby accommodation.
  • Check-in, settle down, and relax by the warmth of a campfire.
  • Enjoy a BBQ dinner paired with traditional Pashtun music.
  • Networking activities to break the ice and build connections.

DAY. 02

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Depart for Kalam Valley, soaking in the stunning views of snowy peaks and pine forests along the way.
  • Arrival in Kalam and visit Ushu Forest for snow hiking and photography.
  • Explore the scenic beauty of Ushu Forest (if accessible) or nearby snowy trails for fun activities like snowball fights , sessions etc
  • Return to the accommodation for dinner.
  • Enjoy storytelling, cultural discussions, and team-building games by the campfire and enjoy live snow.

DAY. 03

  • Early breakfast and check-out from the accommodation.
  • Short hike to a nearby viewpoint to enjoy the sunrise over the valley.
  • Engage in a closing session with reflection, certificate distribution, and group photos.
  • Begin the journey back, with a stop at a notable spot (e.g., Bahrain Bazaar) 
  • Arrival back at the starting point, marking the end of a memorable 3-day Snow Venture Camp.

Participation Guidelines and Policies

Packing List for Snow Venture Camp Kalam 2025

  • Pack warm clothing, including thermal layers, waterproof jackets, gloves, hats, and scarves, as temperatures in Kalam can drop significantly.
  • Bring waterproof and comfortable walking shoes for snow activities and hiking.
  • Essential items such as toiletries, sunscreen, lip balm, and any personal medications should be included.
  • A small backpack for carrying water bottles, snacks, and personal belongings during excursions is recommended.

Travel Guidelines

  • Participants are advised to arrive at the departure point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time to ensure a smooth check-in process.
  • Carry a valid ID for verification and registration purposes.
  • The group will travel together, so punctuality is crucial for all participants.
  • Be prepared for potential delays due to snowfall or weather conditions

Safety Measures

  • Young Hands Pakistan prioritizes the safety of all participants, with comprehensive safety measures in place, including a briefing on emergency procedures related to snow and weather hazards.
  • Participants are expected to follow the instructions of trip coordinators and guides at all times to avoid any risks in snowy or slippery areas.
  • Avoid venturing into restricted or unsafe zones without proper guidance.

Photography and Media

  • Participants may be featured in photos and videos taken during the camp for promotional purposes. Please inform the organizers in advance if you do not wish to be included.
  • Personal photography is encouraged, but participants should respect local customs and cultural sensitivities when interacting with the community.

Cancellation Policy

  • In case of participant cancellation, a partial refund may be available if notice is given within the specified time frame. Please refer to the terms and conditions provided during registration.
  • If the trip is canceled or postponed due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, participants will be promptly informed and given options for rescheduling or refunds.
