Our Sports Program 2024 is designed to engage youth from all backgrounds in a variety of sports activities, providing a platform for young athletes to showcase their talents, compete in a friendly environment, and develop valuable life skills.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Young Hands Pakistan Sports Program 2024 is an exciting initiative aimed at promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among the youth of Pakistan. This program  will feature a variety of sports including cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, basketball, track and field. The program is designed to engage youth aged 12-30 years, providing them with a platform to showcase their athletic talents, compete in a friendly environment, and develop valuable life skills. With a focus on fostering unity and a healthy lifestyle, the event will include knockout and round-robin formats, ensuring a day full of competitive spirit and camaraderie. Participants can register online or at designated locations, with all necessary equipment provided at the venue. We invite young athletes to join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community, and we also welcome volunteers and sponsors to support this vibrant celebration of sports.

CRICKET

CRICKET PITCH AND GROUND

The Cricket segment of the Young Hands Pakistan Sports Program 2024 promises to be a highlight of the event, bringing together eight teams in an exciting T10 format. Each team, comprising 11 enthusiastic players, will compete in a series of knockout matches leading up to the semi-finals and finals. The matches will be held on a well-maintained cricket ground equipped with all the necessary gear, including bats, balls, stumps, and protective equipment. This segment aims to provide young cricketers with a platform to showcase their batting, bowling, and fielding skills in a competitive yet supportive environment. The fast-paced nature of T10 cricket will ensure thrilling moments and high-scoring games, keeping both participants and spectators on the edge of their seats. Cricket Rules and Regulations

  • Format: T10, with knockout matches.
  • Overs: Each team will play 10 overs.
  • Super Over: In case of a tie, a Super Over will decide the winner.
  • Equipment: Standard cricket equipment will be used.
  • Substitutions: Allowed in case of injury, with approval from the match officials.

FOOTBALL

FOOTBALL BY YOUNG HANDS PAKISTAN 2024

Young Hands Pakistan Sports Program 2024 is designed to be a showcase of agility, strategy, and team coordination. Featuring a 7-a-side format, the competition will see eight teams vying for victory on a standard football field. Each team will consist of seven players and three substitutes, allowing for dynamic gameplay and strategic substitutions. Matches will be played with two 30-minute halves, separated by a 10-minute halftime break. In the event of a tie, extra time and penalty shootouts will determine the winner, ensuring a fair and decisive outcome. The football segment aims to bring out the best in young athletes, emphasizing quick thinking, precise passing, and goal-scoring prowess. This tournament will not only be a test of physical fitness but also of mental resilience and tactical acumen. Participants will have the chance to demonstrate their skills in front of an enthusiastic audience, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.   • Format: 7-a-side, with knockout matches.
  • Duration: Each match consists of two 30-minute halves with a 10-minute halftime.
  • Tiebreaker: Extra time and penalty shootouts if needed.
  • Substitutes: Three substitutes allowed per team per match.

 

VOLLEYBALL

VOLLEYBALL BY YOUNG HANDS PAKISTAN

Volleyball at the Young Hands Pakistan Sports Program 2024 will feature six teams competing in a round-robin format that culminates in exciting finals. Each team will consist of six players, with matches played best of three sets, each set going up to 25 points, with a mandatory two-point lead to win. The games will be held on a standard volleyball court, equipped with all necessary gear to ensure a professional and competitive environment. This segment is designed to highlight the importance of teamwork, communication, and athleticism. Volleyball requires precise coordination and quick reflexes, and the tournament will provide ample opportunity for players to showcase their spikes, serves, and blocks. The round-robin format ensures that each team gets multiple opportunities to compete, fostering a spirit of continuous improvement and adaptation. BADMINTON

BADMINTON BY YOUNG HANDS PAKISTAN 2024

The Badminton tournament at the Young Hands Pakistan Sports Program 2024 will feature both singles and doubles matches, offering participants a chance to shine in one of the fastest racquet sports. Played on indoor or outdoor courts, this segment will adhere to standard badminton rules, with all necessary equipment, including racquets and shuttlecocks, provided by the organizers. The tournament aims to test players’ agility, precision, and endurance, as they engage in fast-paced rallies and strategic play. Badminton is a sport that requires sharp reflexes and quick decision-making, and this tournament will provide a platform for young players to demonstrate these skills. BASKETBALL

The Basketball tournament will feature a 3-on-3 format, bringing together six teams in a competition that emphasizes speed, skill, and teamwork. Each team will consist of three players and one substitute, and the games will be played on a half-court with one hoop. Following standard 3-on-3 basketball rules, the matches will be fast-paced and intense, encouraging sharp shooting and quick decision-making. This format of basketball is known for its dynamic and high-energy gameplay, making it a favorite among young athletes. Participants will have the chance to showcase their dribbling, shooting, and defensive skills in a compact and competitive environment.   • Duration: Games played to 21 points or 10 minutes, whichever comes first.

TABLE TENNIS

The Table Tennis matches will include both singles and doubles formats, providing a platform for quick reflexes, strategic thinking, and precision. Participants will compete on tables equipped with nets, using paddles provided by the event. Adhering to standard table tennis rules, the matches will ensure a fair and competitive atmosphere, challenging players to display their best skills. Table tennis is a sport that demands intense focus and rapid responses, and the tournament will test participants’ ability to anticipate their opponents’ moves and react swiftly. The segment aims to foster a competitive spirit while promoting sportsmanship and respect among players. With the fast-paced nature of the games and the close interactions between players, the table tennis matches are sure to be a thrilling and engaging part of the sports program.

  • Format: Singles and doubles matches.
  • Rules: Standard table tennis rules apply.
  • Scoring: Matches played to 11 points, best of five games.

Eligibility, Rules and Regulations

Eligibility

  • Age Group: The program is open to youth aged 14-30 years  (Male & Female both) .
  • Participation: Both individual and team registrations are welcome.
  • Teams: Teams must be pre-registered with a team name and captain.
  • Health: Participants must be in good health and have no medical conditions that would prevent them from safely participating in the sports activities.

General Rules and Regulations

  • Registration: All participants must register online or at designated locations before the deadline.
  • Attendance: Participants must arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled event.
  • Uniform: Teams are encouraged to wear matching uniforms or sportswear.
  • Equipment: All necessary equipment will be provided, but participants can bring their own if they prefer.
  • Conduct: Participants are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect towards referees, officials, and fellow competitors.
  • Safety: Adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory. Medical staff will be on-site for emergencies.
  • Decisions: The decisions of referees and officials are final and must be respected.
